Telemetry Station uses prepaid account credits for telemetry. Customers purchase credits at a fixed conversion of $1.00 = 1.00 credit. Activation fees, prorated monthly fees, usage fees, suspension fees, and destination fees are deducted in credits. Credits are not cash deposits, cannot be withdrawn, and cannot be converted back into dollars. Stripe checkout shows the actual card payment needed to purchase credits and pay any checkout processing fees.

How Certus pricing works

Each Certus device has a monthly plan, a per-device activation fee, and a clear included data allowance. If usage goes above the included allowance, overage rates start at the maximum displayed rate and then decrease dynamically as cumulative monthly billable overage grows.

Devices can be suspended for 5.00 credits. Unsuspending does not cost anything, and you only need to purchase more credits for the next expected deployment period.

Message storage

Messages are saved for up to 5-years at no extra storage charge and can be downloaded anytime through the Telemetry Station API.

Already activated device extensions

If a device is already activated, you can extend service at the same plan and overage rates without another activation fee, unless the device was fully deactivated. You can suspend devices for 5.00 credits per month to avoid another activation fee.
