Purchases add credits that can cover activation fees, scheduled deployments, usage, suspension, destinations, and future monthly charges. Customers purchase credits at $1.00 = 1.00 credit. Credits are used only for Telemetry Station services, are not cash deposits, cannot be withdrawn, and cannot be converted back into dollars.

Telemetry Station provides calculators and calendar-month predictions, but you are responsible for keeping enough credits available for active and scheduled deployments. Opt-in for text or email notifications when your balance gets low. After 2 years of account inactivity, remaining credits may be closed and the credits forfeited.
What happens if credits run out

Devices are automatically deactivated when credits run out. This keeps the account prepaid and prevents unpaid airtime charges. We make sure that you have enough warning and time to purchase more credits before this happens. Opt-in for automatic credit purchases with a card on file to avoid any disruption.
SBD destination options

For SBD modems, you may add custom email or DirectIP destinations for 5.00 credits per month each. However, all messages will also be stored in Telemetry Station for up to 5-years at no extra cost. Data-sensitive or government SBD customers can request private data destinations for 100.00 credits per device per month when needed.
