Which Iridium modems does Telemetry Station support?

The standard self-service workflow is intended for eligible Iridium Certus 9704 and Iridium SBD 9602 / 9603 modems. Eligibility depends on the modem service state, configuration, and deployment; Telemetry Station does not claim compatibility with every Iridium device.

Can Telemetry Station help choose the best Iridium plan?

Yes. The calculators model payload size, reporting interval, device count, deployment dates, included usage, plan fees, minimum billable message behavior, and overage costs. The recommendation identifies the lowest-cost Telemetry Station plan for the inputs you enter; it is not a market-wide lowest-price claim.

What happens to my telemetry after activation?

Telemetry Station provides up to five years of message retention, with no standard storage fee, while the account remains active and in good standing, subject to the Terms. Retained supported telemetry is available through the dashboard and API.

Can I configure custom data destinations?

Yes. SBD and Certus devices can forward messages to Email, DirectIP, and HTTPS destinations. Configure them in the deployment details during activation; they stay fixed until the devices are deactivated or the deployment end date passes.

Is Iridium activation guaranteed in about five minutes?

No. Telemetry Station is designed to move a straightforward eligible deployment from estimate to activation in about five minutes, but timing is not guaranteed. Iridium provisioning, device eligibility, payment, network availability, and other third-party or deployment conditions can affect activation.

What happens to an inactive Telemetry Station account?

Under the current Terms, an account that remains inactive for 12 months may be closed and unused credits may expire or be forfeited, subject to applicable law and the notice provisions in the Terms.
