Test Telemetry Station with 10 free credits.
Calculate the deployment, activate a real Iridium SBD or Certus device, send real telemetry, and see how the platform works before committing more budget.
A short, low-usage SBD 0 or Certus 0 test may fit entirely inside the 10-credit promotion.
See whether 10 credits can cover your test.
Use your actual payload, reporting interval, device count, and dates. The calculator shows a much better answer than a generic promise of free airtime.
Calculate a Certus test
Model payload size, reporting frequency, device count, deployment dates, plan behavior, and expected credits.
Calculate an SBD test
Model message size, reporting frequency, dates, activation, optional destinations, and expected credits.
Test the real workflow in four steps.
Calculate the test
Choose SBD or Certus and enter the payload, reporting interval, device count, and dates you actually want to test.
Create the deployment
Choose the best-fit plan, register the supported IMEI, and continue through the normal Telemetry Station activation flow.
Apply 10Free
Choose the 10Free offer when it is available and receive 10 promotional credits after your qualifying checkout.
Continue when you are ready
Send real Iridium messages, review your deployment and telemetry, and buy additional credits only when your deployment needs them.
For a short, low-volume first deployment, it may be.
The goal is to validate the real product—not a limited demo. Activate a supported device, send Iridium messages, see the deployment, and retrieve stored telemetry.
Start with SBD 0 or Certus 0
The current zero-tier plans have no activation fee, leaving more of the 10-credit balance available for service and message usage.
Keep the first deployment short
A few days of service can keep prorated plan charges low enough that the promotional balance may cover the entire evaluation.
Send realistic telemetry
Use the payload and reporting interval you actually expect in production so the test teaches you something useful about cost and delivery.
Avoid optional paid destinations at first
Start with the core Telemetry Station workflow if your goal is to maximize how far the promotional credits go.
What the 10-credit promotion does and does not cover.
Is my first deployment guaranteed to cost $0?
No. The promotion contributes 10 credits. Your exact cost depends on network, plan, dates, device count, message size, reporting frequency, destinations, and actual usage. Use the calculator before activation to see whether your test can fit inside the promotion.
Why can a short test be fully covered?
SBD 0 and Certus 0 currently have no activation fee. On a short, low-volume deployment, the remaining prorated plan and message charges may stay below 10 credits.
Do the promotional credits expire?
Unused promotional credits may expire on August 31, 2026. Telemetry Station may extend the offer or allow promotional credits to remain available longer at its discretion, but no extension or continued availability is promised. We recommend using the credits promptly.
What happens after I use the 10 credits?
If the deployment needs more credits, purchase additional credits to keep the device funded and continue operating it.
Simple rules for the first deployment.
