Activate Iridium telemetry without waiting for a quote.
Calculate deployment cost, purchase prepaid credits, and activate eligible Iridium Certus 9704 & SBD 9602 / 9603 modems online backed by Pacific Gyre's 30+ years of device-to-data engineering experience.
Standard self-service plans do not require a manual sales quote. Device eligibility and activation timing remain subject to service and third-party network conditions.

Know the expected cost before service starts.
Use the same inputs your firmware and field plan will use. Telemetry Station compares its supported plans and estimates the deployment before you purchase credits.
Estimate Certus
Model richer Certus payloads using the device count, payload, transmission interval, deployment timing, and current Telemetry Station plan behavior.
Estimate SBD
Model compact SBD telemetry using message size, reporting interval, device count, dates, activation, included usage, and overage behavior.
10 promotional credits toward a qualifying first deployment.
Run the calculator first. The promotion can reduce the qualifying deployment amount but does not guarantee a free deployment.
Built for teams with a real Iridium deployment to run.
OEMs & integrators
Activate eligible bare 9704, 9602, and 9603 modems, model fleet economics, and add a second Iridium service path without building the commercial layer yourself.
Environmental monitoring
Run repeatable remote-sensor deployments with clear airtime assumptions, device controls, retained telemetry, and direct technical access.
Research & field programs
Estimate a small project before field season, activate eligible devices on your schedule, and retrieve the resulting telemetry later through the dashboard or API.

Enter payload size, reporting interval, device count, and deployment timing.
Upload eligible IMEIs
Register eligible Iridium Certus 9704 and SBD 9602 / 9603 device identifiers.
Purchase credits
Fund the account with prepaid credits for the supported deployment.
Activate + Access
Activate supported service, track device, and download telemetry.

Keep proven SBD fleets running. Launch richer 9704 products.
Iridium Certus
Message-oriented Certus for newer products that need richer payloads than SBD workflows, with messages up to 100 KB.
Iridium Short Burst Data
A proven path for compact telemetry, existing products, seasonal fleets, environmental sensors, trackers, and low-volume remote devices.
Know where your devices are, what they cost, and whether your balance is healthy.
Telemetry Station gives you a single operating view for device locations, plan costs, prepaid credits, message usage, and projected account balance. Before you activate devices, you can estimate the deployment cost and fund the account with confidence.
This anonymized example is generated for the current calendar month. It shows deposits, activations, prorated plan fees, usage, suspension, and the projected balance across SBD and Certus devices.
September 2026
Showing Sep 1 → Sep 30 UTC. This month opens at $0.00 and ends at $409.31.
Reduce every unnecessary byte before it becomes recurring airtime.
Define sensor fields, choose ranges and precision, preview the exact bit-packed hex, and generate an editable C payload builder. The tool runs client-side, requires no account, and checks your design against SBD and Certus message limits.

Preview example and worst-case payload sizes before firmware deployment.
Generate editable C
Start from transparent packing code that can be checked against your decoder.
Keep payloads private
Your field definitions, values, hex, and generated code stay in your browser.
Pacific Gyre has built field hardware and telemetry systems since 1994. Telemetry Station brings 30+ years of device-to-data experience into a focused self-service Iridium workflow.
Know the eligibility, data, and account rules before you fund.
Which Iridium modems are supported?
The standard self-service workflow is intended for eligible Iridium Certus 9704 and SBD 9602 / 9603 SBD modems. Eligibility depends on the modem's current service state, configuration, and the deployment. Telemetry Station does not claim compatibility with every Iridium device.
Is activation guaranteed in five minutes?
No. Telemetry Station is designed to move a straightforward eligible deployment from estimate to activation in about five minutes, but activation timing is not guaranteed. Iridium provisioning, payment, device eligibility, network availability, and other third-party or deployment conditions can affect timing.
How do prepaid credits work?
Unless otherwise stated, $1.00 equals 1.00 Telemetry Station credit. Credits pay eligible platform service charges; they are not cash deposits and are generally non-refundable except where required by law or approved in writing.
What happens if my account is inactive?
Under the current Terms, if an account remains inactive for 12 months, Telemetry Station may close it and expire or forfeit unused credits, subject to applicable law and the notice provisions in the Terms.
How long are telemetry messages retained?
Telemetry Station provides up to five years of message retention, with no standard storage fee, while the account remains active and in good standing, subject to the Terms, technical limits, and account status.
Can I configure custom SBD destinations?
Custom SBD Email, DirectIP, and HTTPS destinations are preview-only and coming soon. They are not part of the currently enabled standard destination workflow.
Can I get a refund for unused credits?
Credit purchases are generally final and non-refundable except where required by law or expressly approved by Telemetry Station in writing. Review the Terms before purchasing.
What can affect satellite connectivity or message delivery?
Iridium service depends on third-party network availability, satellite visibility, antenna installation, modem configuration, environmental conditions, and other deployment factors outside Telemetry Station's control. Connectivity, latency, message delivery, and activation timing are not guaranteed.
What support is available?
Telemetry Station is backed by Pacific Gyre's hardware and telemetry engineering team. Contact us for device eligibility, integration, migration, fleet, or deployment questions. Projects that require a defined support SLA or dedicated coverage should confirm those requirements in writing.
What if I have 20+ devices, a migration, or a second-source requirement?
Contact the Telemetry Station / Pacific Gyre team. Larger fleets, SBD-to-9704 migrations, supplier-diversification projects, private data requirements, and custom hardware or software needs are good reasons for a direct technical review.
